Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Bronies go nuts, and Nintendo Sucks?Equestria Girls
The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

YAY RANDOM UPDATE!
Thanks guys for the answers from the last question~ I guess I should try and be more active haha. I'm so used to ignoring DA and living on LJ.

I hauled the first batch of COLORS to the post office today! Hopefully I can get the same amount out tomorrow, then the rest on Monday, and that'll be all the US preorders. Then I'll tackle the international ones.

I've been thinking about drawing all the Omega elebits from Elebits: Adventures of Kai and Zero, but at the same time I feel it would be pointless because I feel like no one has ever played that game! It's such a great game, it was fun and simple but still challenging in a way. I played it a while ago (I think it came out Feb 09), but I still love the Omegas. If anyone knows wtf I'm talking about, tell me which Omega you want to see me draw!

I guess it would be more logical to draw Pokemon instead, though. What's your favorite pokemon, or pokemon type? I'll probably pick a few to draw. I think my top favorite is Natu, but it's really hard to narrow it down to one. (My favorite type is psychic).

the cool thing about ditto is that it can be all the other pokemon, so you really can't top it. like, if you remember when you were a kid and were asked "if you could have a superpower, what power would you want?" and you'd say "the power to have every power ever!" (or was it just me who did that?), ditto is the pokemon equivalent of that.

plus it just has the cutest derpiest face ever and is nothing but a blob. that is awesome too.
