Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

iiiiiiiii hate being busy. I dont have time for ANYTHING outside of school barely, except doctor appointments. I don't even have time to do any of the secret santa things going around, because I'm struggling now as it is with time and then when December rolls around HELLO FINALS.

SO. STRESSED OUT. NNGghgughhh white hairz and ulcerz plz

I feel stupid talking about anything "personal" or about myself here on DA, but I'm feeling complainy so you get to suffer through my WHINING. Becuase I do it on LJ too much. ..yeah.

I don't think I'll continue with the calendars next year; I'll be even busyier and I'm finding it hard to do them now. /sry I thought about just making a purchaseable 2008 calendar with all-new art, but again, no time, and ontop of that, it would probably end up being more than $15+ because of printing costs alone, and I know that I personally wouldn't want to pay $15-25 for a calendar. (I'm one of thoes lazy people who wait until february and buys them for like $2-3 AHA)

uhhh what else to say. not much. I have a test in an hour and I'm not ready. I have one tomorrow too and I'm DEFINATELY NOT READY for that one OH GOD.

just rambling. k i'm done now. TOTALLY DISREGARD THIS ENTIRE POST PLZ completely pointless.

I hope you feel better soon!
I've felt a lot like that too recently. But I feel pitiful about it. When I get too busy and don't have time to devote to anything I like or want to/need to work on (like a portfolio DX oh god) I feel like I have to cling to is as much as possible. Otherwise I feel terrible and lost. I get lost easily from "me".
Argh. I hope you have some more time for yourself really soon.
