Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

just making my journal somewhat functional again, ahaha.

How's everyone's summer been going? I've been... doing nothing. OH BOY. I need to start drawing again before school hits (then I won't be able to), but I haven't been able to get myself to do it. aouhg.

HMM WHAT ELSE. I still haven't been able to get a job, and it's kind of getting a bit depressing now. hg9fhgidfuhg.

I really want to go to a beach or something this summer. Because IVE NEVER BEEN TO ONE OMG. But gas prices are rediculous so driving isn't an option for most places, and air line tickets and hotels cost money, and OH YEAH I CANT FIND A STUPID JOB.

See I'm very boring and RAHH right now, this is why I never quite update my DA journal much... I never have anything to say. 8< Sorry guys.

What is with this rampage of joblessness?!?!!? Everyone's been talking about how they can't find a job... including me!! D:

I live near a bay, but i never go to the beach... I mainly just like having that water in the distance for my sense of direction. And the nice weather it brings (in our case). Having the sea in front of me makes things feel open, but i know the foothills behind me have always got my back.

It's an experience, though, you should go. Feeeeeel the suck of the tide! The sand on your feet! The... seaweed in your hair, lol!

Then again, I live in Australia and the nearest beach is around 30 minutes (or less) drive away.
You should totallymigrateoverhere! Though I'm not going to a beach anytime soon since it's winter now hmm...
